ORTHO CLINICAL DIAGNOSTICS LAUNCHES “BLOODLINES”
BRAND CAMPAIGN INSPIRED BY BLOOD BANKERS
RARITAN, N.J. (October 21, 2011) — Ortho Clinical Diagnostics today unveiled its new brand campaign inspired by the people behind the science of transfusion medicine – the blood bankers who help protect precious life on the journey between blood donor and blood recipient.
The campaign, called “Bloodlines,” debuts at the AABB Annual Meeting & CCTTXPO 2011 in San Diego, California, October 22-25, 2001, where it will be featured in Ortho Clinical Diagnostics’ booth, #1401, as well as around the conference and in conference publications. A video version of the campaign is available at: http://youtu.be/vC8GB5RGHrQ.
“This campaign is a celebration of blood bankers as the unseen caretakers of the world’s blood supply,” said Barry Bruno, Group Director, Transfusion Medicine Marketing. “It is built on insights that hundreds of customers around the world have shared with us about the challenges they face and the deep passion they have for safeguarding the life that each unit of blood represents.”
The series of ads, which focuses on photographs of blood recipients, is intended to capture the unique and personal connection that is forged when one person’s blood is given to another and to connect the scientific and workplace demands of blood banking to the human being who receives a transfusion.
The campaign was created by Doremus, part of the Omnicom Group.
