Immunohematology | ORTHO Antisera & Reagent Red Blood Cells Traditional Reagents

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics provides a full line of traditional antisera and reagent red blood cell products to meet your testing needs. These reagents provide improved potency, reliability, economy and safety over polyclonal reagents.

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics continues to be the largest manufacturer of reagent red blood cells in the world. Many new products have been launched as of late including the 0.8% Reagent Red Blood Cell line supporting the ORTHO BioVue System. These include:

This solution delivers a low ionic strength environment to enhance antibody reactivity and eliminates the need for a separate reagent.

0.8% Red Cell Diluent resuspending solution is a low ionic diluent used to prepare 0.8% suspensions for autocontrol and crossmatch testing.
